Recipe for a detox smoothie made with kiwi, celery, apple, pineapple and mint. Healthy, easy to make and delicious! No added sugar, no fast carbs (like banana) and no dairy, so it's great for those trying to lose weight or just as a little snack before bed.
I used canned pineapple and the syrup from it to make this. But it's best to get fresh pineapple, chop it up, freeze and then use them. And instead of the canned syrup, you can use coconut water or just pineapple juice.
Prepare all the ingredients. Cut the pineapple into small pieces, peel the kiwi and apple (remove the core from the apple), separate the fresh mint leaves from the sprig.
Place all the ingredients except the water and juice in a blender.
Begin blending on high speed and gradually add the water and juice. Blend until smoothie is the consistency you like. Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately. Bon appetit!
